When Jenny first made contact with me, I knew immediately we were going to get on. I lost count of the amount of times Jenny was supposed to get married so I was so happy to meet her at last at her trial. We had such a fun morning. Jenny has a ‘hair system’ which is similar to hair extensions, so I was very excited to show her we could do fabulous things with her hair. The trial went great, we tried a couple of hairstyles and makeup styles, false lashes etc. We had fun and it was great to put it all into action again on her wedding day at Gosfield Hall. Here is beautiful Jenny.

Sophie was the most beautiful bride. She had so much long thick hair, the trial was quite a challenge!! I was so excited to style Sophies hair on her wedding day, it took two hours, which we predicted and it was worth it. Here is Sophie!

Beautiful Joanna at Blake Hall, a most stunning wedding venue. We had such a wonderful morning with Joanna and her lovely bridesmaids and her mum too. Music was playing, everyone looking out for each other, ensuring they had enough tea, just a memorable day. Thank you Joanna for letting me play such a big part of your wedding morning. You looked incredible.

I had the real pleasure of meeting beautiful Anna recently at her hair and makeup trial, which was only a few days before her actual wedding day. Anna brought her parents along with her to the trial as they had travelled over from Russia for the wedding. Her parents were so lovely, even though they could not speak English, I could tell they were lovely friendly people. They both went for a walk whilst I styled Annas hair and makeup. As the trial was ending, I saw Annas parents in my garden, with my husband. Anna and I were amused at the thought of them trying to communicate as they could not speak English but I was so happy when we opened the door to them and they were like old friends. My husband had started communicating with them by pointing at one of our chickens and said ‘Chicken’ and they responded by saying ‘Kuritsa” and so on….it really was a lovely way for them to communicate. Anna is a scientist and was so so interesting to talk to. On the wedding day, Anna and her bridal party got ready in the Priory at the wonderful Leez Priory. I was lucky enough to be asked to style beautiful Kate and her bridal party for her wedding at the stunning http://www.crondonpark.co.uk near Stock in Essex. I carried out the hair and makeup for Kate and her gorgeous two bridesmaids. I was entertained by Kates two beautiful boys during the morning, one of them loved playing with all my hair grips and products. So so cute! I had the pleasure of styling Lorna and her mother and bridesmaids for her wedding day. She was getting married at Braintree Registry Office and then celebrating at The Rayleigh Arms in Terling. I had such a wonderful morning with everyone. There was lots of activity, always something going on, Lornas’ adorable little boy was keeping everyone amused, her mum and bridesmaids were cooking food for everyone, visitors arriving with babies…..a very busy house – my favourite kind of wedding.

I loved meeting Leah at her trial to discuss her hair and makeup requirements. We had a fabulous morning trying lots of different hair and makeup styles. On Leahs’ actual wedding day, I went to The Old House, Rochford, to get her ready. It was my first visit to this venue, a really unique venue. It literally is an Old House styled beautifully.

Leah married at The Old House with her very close family and friends then travelled to a lovely hotel in Southend to celebrate with all her family and friends. I cannot stop staring at Leahs dress, she looked absolutely incredible.

I met with beautiful Denise almost two years ago at her trial, just before the first lockdown. After postponing her wedding several times, it was a pleasure to see her take her vows with her husband Roger, recently. Below, you will see how her wedding morning unfolded. The photographer, Owen Billcliffe (http://www.owenbweddings.com was just amazing. He was great to have around in the morning and he captured Denise and Rogers wedding perfectly. I cannot recommend him enough.

I had the absolute pleasure in carrying out the hair and makeup for beautiful Jessica for her wedding at Du Rougemont Manor. I also had the pleasure in styling the mother of the brides makeup too. I always try to take photos of the bride and her party on her wedding day, which I always forward on to them just after the wedding as the professional photos normally take a good while to be returned. Here is a before and after of a recent mother of the bride who asked me to style her hair and makeup for her sons wedding.

This was my first visit to Hatfield Place and what a huge surprise! I first met with my bride Rosie in the Bridal Suite. and I was completely blown away! The first thing I set my eyes on were the dressing tables with mirrors in front, all in a row. I cannot tell you what a dream that is for a hair and makeup artist as we often have to create a make shift area with extension leads. Real consideration had taken place when this cottage was designed, it was just the perfect setting for the bride and her suppliers. That room was just the beginning….I could not help but just walk around, in absolute awe at the standard of this cottage. I then went upstairs to find the most incredible room boasting a beautiful bedroom and bathroom, sheer luxury. This was before I even went into Hatfield Place….which again did not disappoint. What an absolutely hidden gem! Brides….just go and check it out!

I had such a lovely morning with Rosie and her bridal party, it was real fun, which I think you will see from my photos below. Rosies playlist had everyone singing and dancing while getting ready. It was a morning I wont forget in a hurry. I even asked Rosie to send me her playlist which I now have on regularly in my kitchen. Thank you Rosie for a fabulous morning full of fun. You looked incredible! I worked with makeup by Jaimie Attfield, who is always a joy to be around.

Beautiful Anushka had such a lovely wedding day. I spent the wedding morning at her parents home, where Anushka decided to spend her wedding morning. While I was setting Anushkas hair, there was a team of people from from Mr and Mrs Weddings UK, who set up the marquee for a banquet. It looked absolutely breath taking, one long table for all the guests. I actually wanted to be a guest at that table! Also, the garden looked so beautiful, with unusual vibrant flowers, a freshly cut lawn, a very cared for garden. I enjoyed getting Anushka ready while her parents made sure everyone had something to eat and drink. It really was a lovely morning and Anushka looked incredible in her beautiful wedding dress which was made for her.

I had the pleasure of getting Kelly and her bridal party ready for her wedding day. Kelly left it to the bridesmaids to choose their own hairstyle, which I think is just lovely. The photographer on the day was Neil Bailey. Neil is such a wonderful photographer, very traditional and respectful. He even takes his shoes off every time he sees a carpet!
