Just some hot of the press news…..I have just been informed that I have become a Finalist for the Wedding Hairstylist of the Year!  Such wonderful news to receive!  The big final event is in November but just being short listed is such a wonderful feeling.

I’ve had such a diverse Summer!  I’ve met so many wonderful and interesting people.  Not only brides to be and people celebrating milestone birthdays but ordinary people in my normal walks of life.  Big changes have happened this year.  My daughter started University in Canterbury and my Son received a Jack Petchey Award, so I’m having a good year!

I have met some amazing brides who have been taking their vows and starting married life with their loved ones.   I have also enjoyed creating different sophisticated hairstyles for every occasion and all very bespoke to your personal taste and long may it continue.   My 2017 diary is already becoming quite full, especially for August so please do secure your date soon as I am already having to turn so many people away.

Next month, I am working backstage on a production of Oliver Twist.  I cannot wait to paint makeup onto 40 young faces each night along with changing wigs and putting eyeliner on Fagin and Bill Sykes etc.  Such a wonderful show which is on at The Civic Theatre, in Chelmsford from Tuesday 8th November to Saturday 12th.
